Welcome aboard

Sri Lanka’s been crying out for this for years and finally, here it is, a luxury yacht letting you explore the island’s beautiful coastline from prime position.

Jade is a 52 foot, eight-berth catamaran – Sri Lankan designed and built in partnership with an established Belgian team.

She offers a totally fresh perspective on this beautiful little island; not to be missed.

Stylish cruising

Jade’s four cabins are smart and very comfortable – each has its well-equipped private bathroom. The twin decks, of course, are really the place to be – the higher of the two ideal for early morning whale and dolphin watching. The rest of the yacht offers very comfortable sitting, reading, dining and drinking space.

She was launched in December 2015 and now hosts cruises from one-night hops around the south coast, to six-night tours of the more untouched east.

Here’s what our guests say

“I surprised the huzz with an overnight trip on Jade - it was the best. We got a speedboat to the catamaran then went for a little sail, had a sunset swim in Weligama Bay, ate a delicious dinner onboard and had a few drinks. Great night's sleep, with good quality bedding. Woke up early to go whale watching and felt like deadset celebrities out on the ocean amidst all the other whale-watching boats.”

Vivalalanka, Colombo, Sri Lanka – February 2016

“My Wife and I chartered the Jade for 3 days in February and it was an utterly fantastic, hugely memorable experience and incredible value for money too.

The captain Vianney and his crew were amazing. Incredibly friendly and super helpful, they simply couldn't do enough for us. Paddle Boarding at Sunset was fantastic, as was waking up the following morning to see Sperm Whales swimming alongside us. Days spent jumping into crystal blue waters while the crew cooked lunch, and drinking a glass of wine on the deck at sunset were simply incredible.”

BCorish, Ireland – March 2016

Jade embarks from Mirissa, on the island’s south coast between December and April and from Trincomalee, on the east between June and September. Mirissa is easily reached from Colombo international airport – a journey of around 2.5 hours. Heading from Colombo to Trinco takes rather longer. Both, though, can be reached by seaplane in next to no time.
